Hard Rock Bet arrived in Ontario on 22 July 2026, the first market outside the United States for Hard Rock Digital, the online arm of the Hard Rock hotel and casino group. It launched with a sportsbook and an online casino of roughly 3,000 games.
Because it is so new, there is less history to judge it by. We checked its Ontario licence, its sportsbook pages, its launch announcements and the Canadian App Store, and we say clearly where details are still thin.

Hard Rock Bet Ontario: our verdict
Hard Rock Bet is the newest major brand among Ontario sports betting sites. Its Ontario sportsbook covers 18 sports, from hockey and football to curling and lacrosse, and offers a full menu of bet types: moneylines, spreads, totals, player props, futures, same-game parlays, teasers and round robins, plus live betting.
The licence detail is refreshingly clear, with its AGCO registration number printed in the footer, and the responsible-gambling tools are broader than many rivals, including session reminders and wager limits as well as deposit limits.
What we can't yet tell you is how it performs over a full season. There is little Ontario-specific information on payment methods and payout times, no advertised live streaming, and the sportsbook app is too new for us to quote a reliable rating.
Best for: parlay players who like same-game parlays, teasers and round robins, and fans who want the CFL and curling alongside the NHL and NFL.

Yes. Hard Rock Bet is listed on iGaming Ontario's directory of regulated sites at hardrockbet.ca, for casino and sports betting. Single-event sports betting became legal in Canada in August 2021 under Bill C-218, and Ontario's regulated online market opened on 4 April 2022. Hard Rock Bet joined more than four years later.

The Ontario sportsbook page lists Aussie Rules, baseball, basketball, boxing, cricket, curling, cycling, football, golf, hockey, lacrosse, MMA, motorsports, rugby, soccer, table tennis, tennis and volleyball. Featured leagues include the NFL, CFL, NHL, NBA, MLB, English Premier League and MLS.
Bet types are broad: moneyline, totals, point spreads, parlays, same-game parlays, player props, teasers, round robins, live betting and futures. SGP Max lets you include same-game parlays inside a multi-game parlay, for example a Flames–Oilers same-game parlay combined with a Canucks moneyline.
How a parlay pays, for illustration
For illustration: a C$10 two-leg parlay with the Roughriders at 1.85 and the Argonauts at 2.05 combines to about 3.79, returning roughly $37.90 if both win. A single $20 bet on the Flames at 2.40 (+140) would return $48. Both legs of a parlay must win; one loss settles the whole bet.

Live betting is part of the Ontario sportsbook, with in-game moneylines, totals and spreads on the major leagues. Hard Rock Bet's Ontario pages don't mention live video streaming or cash-out, so we can't confirm either.

We couldn't load the sportsbook app's own App Store page, so we haven't quoted a rating for it. The casino app's 4.5 is an early sign of satisfaction with the shared account, but it isn't a sportsbook rating.

Hard Rock Bet's Ontario launch announcement promises fast deposits and withdrawals, but its public Ontario pages don't list payment methods or payout times. Check the cashier after you register to see which methods are available to you.
One early App Store reviewer said e-transfer wouldn't work for them, and that a debit Mastercard deposit went through but couldn't be used to withdraw. Pick a method you can also withdraw to, and keep it in your own name.
Verify your identity before your first cash-out. It is the most common reason a first withdrawal takes longer than expected at any Ontario sportsbook.
