Caesars is one of the biggest names in North American gaming, and Ontarians know it from Caesars Windsor across the river from Detroit. Online, its Ontario sportsbook and casino run through American Wagering, Inc., a Caesars company based at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
There is one thing to know before anything else: Caesars only accepts Ontario players aged 21 and over, two years above the provincial minimum of 19. Here is what else we found after checking its Ontario terms, support pages, iGaming Ontario's directory and the Canadian App Store.
Caesars brings a large U.S. sportsbook to Ontario with a familiar feature set: live betting, same-game parlays, quick-pick parlays and Flex Parlay, which keeps a parlay alive if one leg misses. It also sits alongside a full online casino in the same account.
Banking is practical for Canadians, with Interac e-Transfer accepting deposits from $5 and withdrawals up to $25,000 per transaction. The Canadian App Store rating is a more modest 4.1 from about 1,000 ratings, and the written reviews mention crashes and deposit trouble.
The 21+ age rule sets Caesars apart from almost every other Ontario sports betting site. If you are 19 or 20, it isn't an option.
We score Caesars Ontario 7.4 out of 10. The product is capable, but a middling app rating, sparse Ontario-specific detail and the higher age limit keep it well below bet365 Ontario.
Yes. Caesars appears on iGaming Ontario's directory of regulated sites, listed for casino and sports betting. Its Ontario terms name the company as American Wagering, Inc., 1 Caesars Palace Drive, Las Vegas, and refer to the iGaming Operator registration issued to it by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario. Games are offered and administered by the company as agent for iGaming Ontario.
The terms cover the Caesars Sportsbook and Casino online gaming website and describe its services as Ontario betting, gaming and wagering services.
Single-event sports betting has been legal in Canada since August 2021 (Bill C-218), and Ontario's open, regulated iGaming market started on 4 April 2022.
The app lists live odds and in-game markets on the NBA, MLB, NHL, NCAA basketball, soccer, UFC and boxing, golf, tennis and motorsports. Bet types include parlays, same-game parlays, Quick Picks and custom bets.
Flex Parlay is the feature to know. It keeps a parlay alive when one leg misses, so a near-miss isn't automatically a loss. Caesars has also been building out soccer: during the 2026 World Cup it said its futures menu was the largest it had offered for a soccer event, and that Canada was only the fifth most-bet team among Ontario customers.
For illustration: a C$30 bet on the Blue Jays at 1.80 (−125) would return $54 if Toronto wins, your $30 stake plus $24 profit. A three-leg NHL parlay at 1.90, 2.10 and 1.75 would combine to about 6.98, so $10 would return roughly $69.80 if all three win.
Live betting is central to the app, with real-time scores and in-game markets. Recent versions added bet tracking on the iPhone lock screen and Dynamic Island, which is handy if you follow a Leafs game with your phone in your pocket.
The listing mentions "Watch & Bet" on select matchups but doesn't say which events or leagues are included in Ontario. Expect it on some games rather than as full live streaming. For broader streaming coverage, see bet365 Ontario.
On the Canadian App Store, Caesars Sportsbook & Casino rates 4.1 from about 1,000 ratings. It is a large download, roughly 518 MB, and needs iOS 17 or later. The listing states that Ontario players must be 21 or older.
| Platform | Rating | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| iOS (Canada) | 4.1 / 5 (1K ratings) | Seller: Computerized Bookmaking Systems, Inc.; iOS 17+ |
| Android | Not verified | The public Google Play listing lists U.S. jurisdictions only |
The app is shared with Caesars' U.S. markets, so some features in the description apply only in certain states. The live-dealer and slots casino in the iOS listing, for example, is described for U.S. states; in Ontario, check the casino lobby once you sign in.
Caesars' payments help page covers several U.S. states and Canadian provinces, including Ontario, and marks which methods are Canada-only.
| Method | Deposit | Withdrawal | Notes from Caesars' payments page |
|---|---|---|---|
| Interac e-Transfer | Yes, $5–$25,000 per transaction | Yes, $1–$25,000 per transaction | Available only for players in Canada |

All jurisdictions have a $5 minimum for digital deposits and a $1 minimum for digital withdrawals. The page also notes that if you deposit from outside Ontario and can't wager, customer support will help return your funds.
Horse racing isn't among the sports in Caesars' Canadian app listing. For Woodbine, Mohawk and the King's Plate, see our Ontario horse-racing guide.
Caesars' Ontario support centre has a dedicated responsible gaming section, and its Ontario pages carry the ConnexOntario contact: call 1-866-531-2600, text CONNEX to 247247 or visit connexontario.ca. Its support pages carry the line "Know When To Stop Before You Start".
All regulated Ontario operators must offer tools to limit your play. Look in your account settings for deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion, and remember iGaming Ontario's centralized self-exclusion covers every regulated site in the province.
The Ontario support centre covers account, payments and casino questions, and links to a chat with an agent. A general contact page is also available. One App Store reviewer said live chat promised a follow-up on a deposit problem that never came, so keep a record of your chat transcripts.
Caesars doesn't list Ontario support hours or a phone number on the pages we read.
Written reviews on the Canadian App Store are mixed. Praise focuses on a clean design; complaints focus on crashes and deposits.
“It is so clean and easy to use”
“Tried countless times depositing. Been back and forth with the live chat, say they will contact you, they never do.”
“Constantly crashes. Half the games crash before even placing a bet.”
Quoted word for word from public reviews; one review is never the whole picture.
