The QuinnBet welcome bonus does not ask for a promo code. The sign-up offer refunds half of your first day's net sportsbook losses as a free bet, up to £25, and pays a £5 free bet even if you finish the day ahead. To qualify, deposit and bet at least £10 at evens or bigger, and place at least three bets on different events on day one; two of those must be at least half the size of your largest stake.

The catch for racing punters is the price. Bets struck at SP do not count towards the joining offer, so take a fixed price on any horse you back. Cashed-out, void and free bets are also excluded, and losses are counted only from your first settled bet until 23:59 that day.

QuinnBet welcome offer: how 50% back on day-one losses works

A worked example helps. Your largest bet on day one is £10 on a horse at 2/1, and you add two £5 bets at evens on other races. If all three lose, your net loss is £20 and QuinnBet returns half, £10, as a free bet the next day. Lose £60 and the refund stops at £25. Finish in profit, or lose less than £5, and the £5 consolation free bet still arrives, provided one qualifying bet was £10 or more at evens.

The free bet must be used in full within seven days, at odds between 1/4 and 250/1. It can go on a single or a straight accumulator, but not on full-cover bets such as a Trixie or Yankee. Horse racing is named in the terms as an eligible market, both for qualifying and for the free bet.

QuinnBet totals your net position for the day, from your first settled bet until 23:59. Spread your day-one bets rather than piling onto one, because two of the three must be worth at least half your largest stake. Take another example: three racing bets of £10 each at around evens leave you a net £30 down, so QuinnBet credits £15 as a free bet. If the same three bets go your way, you still receive the £5.

The trade-off against a straight free bet is that the headline value only materialises if your first day loses; the guaranteed £5 softens that. Qualifying bets must run to completion with no cash out, and the free bet returns winnings only, not the stake.

QuinnBet horse racing: refunds, places and international streams

QuinnBet has traded since 2017, and its current licence for the British market dates from September 2022. BOG covers singles and multiples, and there is a reported cap of around £150 on the additional winnings per bet, so it is better suited to modest stakes than big plays. Its value shows most at Cheltenham, the Grand National meeting at Aintree and Royal Ascot, when prices move furthest between morning and the off.

Extra places are paid on selected races at a fifth of the odds, and for the big festivals QuinnBet names its extra-place races in the week of the meeting. Racing refunds and promotions

This is QuinnBet's strongest suit. Its racing promotions include a free bet if your horse fails to finish, if it finishes second to the SP favourite, or if it is beaten by a head or less, and greyhound backers get a free bet of up to £10 when their dog runs second to the favourite. On the sports side there is an acca bonus of 5% to 20%, paid as a free bet of up to £50, plus a midweek Bet Builder bonus. The signature concession refunds your losing stake as a free bet, up to £10, if your selection finishes runner-up to the favourite. It runs on UK and Irish races, with three conditions worth committing to memory: your bet must be a single or each-way bet struck at evens or bigger, the race needs at least six runners, and the favourite must go off bigger than 6/4, so short-priced favourites do not count. Picture backing an 11/2 chance in a nine-runner handicap where the favourite is 3/1; if that favourite collars your horse on the line, your stake lands back as a free bet. QuinnBet thinks enough of the concession to put it on the racecard: Yarmouth and Newcastle have both staged QuinnBet handicaps named after it.

On top of that sit a weekly loss refund, stake-based daily free bets and, at the Cheltenham Festival, 10% boosts on winning forecasts and tricasts and non-runner no bet on the championship races. The gap is a VIP or loyalty scheme, which QuinnBet does not have.

Streaming and bet types

A £1 qualifying bet gives access to live pictures, and the coverage runs from British and Irish meetings to France, the United States and Saudi Arabia. QuinnBet app and payments

QuinnBet's all-in-one app combines the sportsbook with more than 4,000 casino games. It is rated 4.0 on the UK App Store, but from only 83 ratings, a fraction of the following the bigger brands enjoy. Cash out, Bet Builder and in-play betting are all included.

Dedicated iOS and Android apps mirror the desktop site's layout and betting flow, so moving between the two takes no relearning.

How the losses refund is calculated is covered above. A few further conditions sit around it, and they mostly bite before the first bet is struck.

Verify first, then deposit

QuinnBet asks new customers to enter a full address and complete ID verification before making the first deposit. Do that on the day you register rather than on the day you mean to bet, because the refund window opens with your first settled bet, not with the deposit.

Which payments count

The minimum deposit is £10 by debit card: Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard, Visa Electron and Maestro are accepted, and Revolut cards work too. Deposits through Neteller or Skrill do not qualify, and credit cards, prepaid cards and e-wallets are not accepted at all.

How the free bet pays

The refund arrives as a single free bet that cannot be withdrawn as cash. If it wins, the winnings are paid into the account minus the free bet stake. Cash out is switched off on qualifying bets, so every day-one bet has to run its course.

Another worked example

Your largest first-day bet is £20 on a horse at 5/2, with two £10 bets at evens on other events, so both are at least half your top stake. The horse loses, one £10 bet wins and one loses: you are £30 down on the day, and QuinnBet credits a £15 free bet the next morning. Put it on a 4/1 winner and you receive £60, without the £15 stake.

Daily free bet

Bets placed before 23:59 on greyhounds, in-play markets, accumulators of three or more selections, including Yankees and Lucky 15s, or a Create-a-Bet of two or more selections earn a share of the stake back. At odds of 6/4 or bigger, single or combined, QuinnBet credits a free bet the next day worth 5% of your qualifying stakes, up to £5, with stakes counted up to £10 per selection. Five settled £10 in-play bets earn £2.50.

Weekly loss refund

Customers in overall loss on the sportsbook for the week receive half of it back as a free bet on Monday, up to £50, provided they have placed at least six bets on different selections. There are no minimum odds, but racing punters should note the cap: if more than half your weekly stakes go on horse racing, the maximum refund falls to £20.

Midweek bonus and price boosts

Who can claim the QuinnBet welcome offer

Alongside Best Odds Guaranteed on British and Irish races and extra places, it pays refunds as free bets if your horse fails to finish, if it runs second to the SP favourite, or if it is beaten a head or less. Its streams reach beyond Britain and Ireland to French, American and Saudi racing, and greyhound backers get their own second-to-the-favourite refund. For a punter who bets on racing most days, those extras have real value.

Against that, the welcome offer is a losses refund rather than guaranteed free bets, and its rules need reading twice. The app has only 83 ratings on the UK App Store, payments are by debit card, and live chat shuts at 11pm. In August 2026 the operator also agreed a £609,104 regulatory settlement with the Gambling Commission.
