Coral promo code

No Coral promo code is required. The Coral sign-up offer, bet £10 get £50, is open to any new UK or Irish customer who opens an account, deposits £10 or more, and it is triggered by the first qualifying bet rather than a code.
What trips people up is the small print of the joining offer around payment and bet type. The deposit has to be made by Visa or Mastercard; prepaid cards, Moneybookers, PayPal, Paysafe, Neteller and Skrill do not count. Only your very first bet qualifies, so it needs to be £10 or more at 1/2 or bigger, placed within 14 days of registering, and not on specials, Tote, Pools or a price boost. On an each-way bet only the win half counts, on an accumulator every selection must be 1/2 or bigger, and the qualifier cannot be cashed out.
For racing punters the route is simple enough: back a horse to win at 1/2 or bigger with a £10 stake, and the five free bets are credited once the bet is placed, in time for the next race on the card. A £10 each-way bet would also qualify, because its win part is £10.

Coral sign-up offer: what the five £10 free bets cover
Once your first bet of £10 or more at 1/2 or bigger is placed, Coral credits five £10 free bets. Each can be used as a win or each-way single, a double, treble or bigger accumulator, a forecast or a combination bet, so a racing fan can put them straight on the afternoon’s cards. They are not valid on the Tote or on full-cover multiples such as a Lucky 15.
The free bets have to be used within seven days and must be staked in full: put £5 of a £10 free bet on a horse and the other £5 is lost. They cannot be cashed out or turned into cash, the free bet stake is never part of the winnings, and a free bet on a selection that is made void is not refunded. Coral’s standard maximum payout rules apply. Compare it with rival sign-up deals in our best horse betting sites guide.
- Register and verify a new Coral account through our link. There is no promo code to enter.
- Deposit £10 or more by Visa or Mastercard. E-wallets, Paysafe and prepaid cards are excluded.
- Place your first bet of £10 or more at 1/2 or bigger within 14 days. Avoid specials, Tote and boosted prices.
- Use the five £10 free bets within seven days, staking each one in full.
Coral horse racing: extra places, BOG and racing extras
Coral prices British, Irish and international racing, and builds a lot of content around it. The Racing Bet Builder offers winner, top-finish and winning-distance markets in one race; Pointing the Way adds Racing Post information on each runner; the UK Tote Guide explains pool betting; and the free-to-play Racing Super Series gives you something to pick without staking a penny. Greyhounds have their own BOG concession.
Finding your way around is straightforward. The lobby calendar lists every UK and Irish race for the day, shows which ones are covered by the Tote and Best Odds Guaranteed, and links straight to the live pictures.
Extra Place races and Best Odds Guaranteed
Coral publishes its Extra Place races daily, spread across several meetings. The usual terms are 1/5 the odds for four places, rising to five places on selected big races, for real-money singles placed from 6pm the evening before. Ante-post, Tote, place-only, match bets, Betting Without and insurance bets are excluded. Best Odds Guaranteed applies to all UK and Irish racing from 8am on race day. Our each-way calculator will show you what that fourth or fifth place is worth.
Win if beaten by a head
Coral’s Pipped at the Post pays your bet as a cash winner if your horse is beaten by a head or less on the Flat, or a neck or less over jumps, on selected Racing Club races; the full rules are set out under promotions below. It turns the most painful result in racing into a payout, and on a competitive handicap where photo finishes are common it is worth opting in before you bet.
Using the free bets on racing
The welcome free bets suit racing well, because they can go on win and each-way singles, forecasts and accumulators. Since the £10 stake is not returned, a free bet is worth most on a longer price: a £10 free bet on a 6/1 winner pays £60, while the same token on a 1/2 favourite would return just £5. An each-way free bet splits the £10 across the win and place parts, which softens the blow if your horse runs into the frame. Pick the race on our today’s racing page.
Bet types
Win, each way, forecasts and tricasts are joined by Lucky 15s, 31s and 63s for full-cover punters, Tote pool bets and the Horse Racing Bet Builder. Check what a Lucky 31 might return with our bet calculator.
Racing Club and My Stable
Coral Racing Club is a free racing ownership club, and My Stable lets you keep track of the horses you want to follow. Together with Odds Boosters, they give Coral a stronger racing identity than a bookmaker that simply posts prices. Before the festivals, see our Cheltenham betting offers.
The Coral welcome bonus in practice: an each-way worked example
Because only the win half of an each-way bet counts towards qualifying, racing punters can trigger the Coral joining offer without changing how they normally bet. Take a £10 each-way bet, £20 in total, on a 4/1 shot in a Saturday handicap. The win part is £10 at odds bigger than 1/2, so the offer fires as soon as the bet is placed, and five £10 free bets are in the account before the race is run.
From there, the arithmetic is the same on every free bet: the stake is not returned. A £10 free bet on a 7/2 winner pays £35, not £45. If the free bet is voided, for example when your horse is withdrawn, the stake is not returned either, so a late non-runner costs you that free bet.
Spread across five races, the £50 goes further on prices of 3/1 and upwards. Five £10 free bets at 4/1 need only one winner to return £40; a forecast in a big-field handicap builds a bigger price from a single £10 stake, which suits a free bet better than a short-priced single.
Coral promotions for existing customers: free-to-play games, Pipped at the Post and the Racing Club
Coral’s regular offers for established customers are built around racing, and several cost nothing to enter.
Racing Super Series
A free-to-play take on the placepot. On selected days you pick one horse to place in each nominated race before the first goes off, and every entry whose picks all place shares a £10,000 cash pot equally. If your pick is a non-runner it switches to the SP favourite. You can enter once online and once in a Coral shop per game, each entry earns 20 Coral Coins for the Coral Coin Store, and winnings reach your account within five days. If nobody survives, the pot does not roll over.
Pipped at the Post in detail
Coral’s close-finish refund is tied to its Racing Club. It applies only to selected races featuring a Coral Racing Club horse, you must be a club member by 23:59 the day before, and you have to opt in once every Monday-to-Sunday week. If your horse finishes second beaten a head or less on the Flat or all-weather, or a neck or less over jumps and in bumpers, the bet is paid as a winner in cash within 48 hours. Only your first standard win or each-way single on the race counts, with stakes from £1 to £10. A dead heat or a reversed result in the stewards’ room does not qualify.
Coral Racing Club
Membership is free and gives you a stake in the fortunes of the club’s horses: daily updates from their trainers, raceday coverage and entry to prize draws for yard visits, hospitality and raceday tickets. It costs nothing to join, and it is the gateway to Pipped at the Post.
Odds Boosters and the Football Super Series
Odds Boosters push up the price on selected special bets. The Football Super Series is the free-to-play football equivalent of the racing game, with cash and free bets among the prizes for correct predictions.
Coral’s racing heritage: from the rails to the app
Coral has been taking bets since 1926, when Joe Coral started out running betting pitches on the racecourse, and it became a high-street giant once off-course betting shops were legalised. Gala bought the business in 2005 to form Gala Coral, which merged with Ladbrokes in 2016, and GVC acquired Ladbrokes Coral in 2018 before renaming itself Entain at the end of 2020. That puts Coral under the same roof as Ladbrokes, partypoker and Sportingbet.
The racing links run deep. Coral has sponsored the Eclipse Stakes at Sandown Park since 1976, so long that the July Group 1 is known simply as the Coral-Eclipse. It is the longest-running Group race sponsorship in the world: the 2025 running was the 50th under Coral’s name, worth a record £1 million, and the deal has been renewed to 2030. Coral also backs the Welsh Grand National at Chepstow, run over Christmas (Monday 28 December in 2026).
Greyhounds are part of the story, too. Coral bought the Brighton & Hove greyhound stadium in 1976, the track now trades under the Coral banner, and the firm sponsors the stadium’s big races, among them the Regency and the Sussex Cup.
Coral sports betting: greyhounds, football and in-play
Coral offers a full suite of greyhound markets for UK customers. You can filter meetings by time or track and bet on today’s races, tomorrow’s or big events months ahead, with cards from around the UK and Ireland and further afield in Australia. Early prices are available, forecast bets sit alongside win and each-way, and Best Odds Guaranteed extends to the dogs.
On the wider sportsbook, enhanced odds on major matches run alongside Bet Builder+, the Football Super Series and in-play markets, and both full and partial cash out are available so you can manage a bet while it is running. The site itself is easy enough to use, though the desktop design could do with a refresh and can feel busy in places; the app is the cleaner way in.
How to open a Coral betting account
Coral has a simple sign-up process for new customers. You need to be aged 18 or over to open an account.
Hit the Join button on the website or in the Coral app, then enter your email address and create a user ID and password. Next, provide your full name and date of birth, followed by your home address and mobile phone number. You can choose whether to receive emails, calls, post or texts about free bets and other offers.
Under UK Gambling Commission rules Coral runs Know Your Customer checks, so you may be asked for documents before you can withdraw. It is a straightforward process: upload a scan of your passport or driving licence through the customer support window and you are set.
Coral app and payments
Coral Sports Betting Online holds 4.7 stars from about 69,000 ratings on the UK App Store, the same score as its Ladbrokes sibling. Away from racing it carries Bet Builder+, cash out, the Rewards Grabber and Rewards Shaker free-to-play games, Football Super Series and the Lotto. See how it stacks up in our betting apps guide.
The minimum deposit is £5, though the welcome offer needs £10. Coral accepts Visa and Mastercard debit cards, Maestro, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Pay by Bank, PayPal, Skrill, Neteller and paysafecard, but only Visa and Mastercard deposits qualify for the welcome offer. If you plan to claim it, fund the account by Visa or Mastercard first and add an e-wallet afterwards. Help is available through live chat and by email at help@coral.co.uk.

Coral pros and cons
What we like
- Daily Extra Place races, with five places on selected big races
- Five £10 welcome free bets usable on racing singles, each-way and forecasts
- Racing extras: Win if beaten by a head, Racing Club, My Stable
What could be better
- Welcome free bets last only seven days
- Only Visa and Mastercard deposits count for the offer
- Streaming rules and each-way terms are hard to find
Coral for horse racing: our verdict
Coral treats racing as more than a list of prices. Every day it nominates Extra Place races across the British and Irish cards, usually paying four places at 1/5 the odds and five on selected feature races. Best Odds Guaranteed covers all UK and Irish racing from 8am, and around those basics sit genuinely useful extras: an opt-in promotion that pays you as a winner if your horse is beaten a head or less, a free racing ownership club, a My Stable tracker and Racing Post runner notes.
It earns an eight. The welcome offer is generous for a £10 outlay, with five £10 free bets that can go on racing singles, each-way bets and forecasts. Against that, the free bets last seven days, a voided free bet is not refunded, only Visa and Mastercard deposits count, and Coral’s streaming rules and standard each-way terms are far harder to find than its promotions. Those are small gripes against a strong racing product.
Coral questions answered
Is there a Coral promo code?
No. The Coral welcome bonus needs no code; your first bet of £10 or more at 1/2 or bigger triggers five £10 free bets.
Does Coral offer Best Odds Guaranteed?
Yes, on all UK and Irish horse racing for bets placed from 8am on race day. Coral also runs daily Extra Place races and an opt-in Win if beaten by a head promotion.
How do Coral Extra Place races work?
Coral picks races each day that pay an extra place, usually 1/5 the odds for four places and five on selected big races. Real-money singles placed from 6pm the day before qualify.
What is the minimum deposit at Coral?
£5, or £10 to claim the welcome offer. Deposit by Visa or Mastercard; prepaid cards, PayPal, Paysafe, Neteller and Skrill do not qualify.
Is Coral licensed in the UK?
Yes. LC International Limited, part of Entain plc, holds the UK Gambling Commission licence under account number 54743.
Is the stake returned with Coral free bets?
No. Coral pays free bet winnings without the stake, so a £10 free bet at 7/2 returns £35. A free bet on a selection that is voided is not refunded.
Does an each-way bet qualify for the Coral sign-up offer?
Yes, but only the win part counts. A £10 each-way bet at 1/2 or bigger qualifies because its win half is £10.
