Unibet promo code

There is no Unibet promo code to hunt down, and nowhere to type one. New customers opt in to the sign-up offer, deposit £10 or more and place a £10 bet on sport at evens or bigger; the free bet offer pays £30 once that bet settles, win or lose.
The catch, for readers of this site, is where the free bets can go. Horse racing, greyhounds, trotting and virtual sports are all excluded for spending them, so this welcome bonus suits a football weekend rather than a Saturday at Ascot.

Unibet sign-up offer: how the £30 in free bets works
The mechanics are simple enough. Open an account, opt in, deposit at least £10 by debit card or instant bank transfer and put £10 or more on a qualifying sportsbook market at evens or bigger. The bet has to settle within seven days of registration, and the free bets are credited once it has.
What lands is three £10 tokens rather than one lump: two for Bet Builders and one for an accumulator, each with a minimum of four selections. None can be used on racing. Anyone who wants a horse-racing start should look at our guide to UK horse betting sites, which lists offers that let you back a runner from day one.
- Register and opt in through our link. No promo code is required.
- Deposit £10 or more by debit card or instant bank transfer; other methods do not qualify.
- Bet £10 at evens or bigger on a qualifying sportsbook market, settling within seven days of registering.
- Use the three £10 free bets within seven days on Bet Builders and accumulators of four or more selections, away from racing.
Unibet horse racing: BOG, extra places and markets
Strip away the welcome offer and Unibet is a well-equipped racing bookmaker. British and Irish racing is the core, but the book stretches to Australia and the United States, with trotting, greyhounds and virtual racing alongside. Prices can be boosted through Uniboost and the Price and Super Boost features, races can be backed in-play, and trader specials appear on the card.
Unibet has put its name to Cheltenham's Champion Hurdle since 2018, and the racing product is built like a brand that takes the sport seriously rather than treating it as an afterthought to the football, and it is laid out in a clean black-and-green interface that stays out of the way.
What you actually get is broad coverage: every UK and Irish Flat and jumps card, plus racing from Australia, the United States, South Africa, Hong Kong, Japan, France and Dubai. If you want a read on the card before you stake, our racing data for today sets out the runners and form for every meeting.
Best Odds Guaranteed and each-way terms
BOG applies to selected British and Irish races from 8am on the day, covers singles and multiples, and needs no opt-in. Take 5/1, watch the horse go off at 8/1, and you are paid at 8/1. The extra payout is capped at £25,000 per customer per day, and the concession does not cover ante-post, non-runner no bet, Tote, in-play or free-bet stakes, nor races carrying extra places. Standard each-way terms are published: a quarter the odds for two places in races of five to seven runners, a fifth for three places with eight or more, and a quarter for three places in handicaps of 12 to 15 runners, rising to four places with 16 or more. Our each-way calculator shows what those terms are worth at any price.
The exclusion list is longer than most, which is why it pays to check a race qualifies before assuming BOG is live. A worked example from the live card: back a horse at 5/1 at 10am, watch it drift to 8/1 by a 2pm off, and if it wins you are paid at 8/1 rather than the 5/1 you took. The £25,000 cap will not trouble most punters; the restriction that actually matters is that you cannot have BOG and an extra place on the same bet.
Extra Place Racing Specials
Every day Unibet marks selected races with an orange plus symbol and pays extra places on them, no opt-in required: five places in fields of 16 or more, four with eight to 15 runners and three in a seven-runner race. The trade-off is that BOG does not apply to those races, so the each-way backer has to choose between the extra place and protection against a drifting price.
Racing bet types and payout limits
Win and each-way singles sit alongside forecasts, tricasts and exactas, and Tote pool bets are available through the same account. The racing rules set out payout limits up front: £100,000 per customer per day on British and Irish races with a full live pictures service, £25,000 for other countries, trotting and virtual racing. Our bet calculator handles doubles, trebles and the full-cover combinations.
Streaming and racing features
Unibet says it streams all British and Irish racing live, through Unibet TV inside the same app you bet with. The Smart View racecard condenses runners, form and prices into a single view, and racing price boosts turn up daily through Uniboost. For the day's cards and runners, see our racing data for today.
Unibet TV reaches well beyond Britain and Ireland, with pictures from Australia, Japan, South Africa and the United States, a notably wider spread than most UK-facing bookmakers offer. For those international streams you need to be logged in and to have a bet on the race.
Uniboost hands each account daily odds-boost tokens, resetting at midnight, that can be used on racing win or each-way singles, giving regular punters a small, repeatable edge without needing to opt in each time. On selected races Unibet also guarantees the best or joint-best price on every runner from midday, measured against William Hill, Ladbrokes, Coral, Paddy Power, bet365, Sky Bet, BetVictor, Betfred, Betfair Sportsbook and BoyleSports, which is handy on a competitive handicap where the early markets are still settling.
Around that sit the bits you will keep coming back to: racing tips on the Unibet blog, The Wine Tipster's nap among them, and guides to racing at home and abroad. It is a set-up that rewards punters who like to do a bit of homework.
Unibet app and payments
The Unibet app holds a 4.3 rating from around 6,700 reviews on the UK App Store, respectable if some way short of the best-rated betting apps. It carries the full sportsbook, the racecards and the streams, and its listing makes a point of Best Odds Guaranteed: if the SP is bigger, you are paid at the bigger price. Cash out, Bet Builder and in-play betting are all built in. Our guide to horse racing apps compares it with the rest of the field.
Unibet's offer terms confirm Visa and Mastercard debit cards and instant bank transfer as payment routes, and those are the only methods that qualify for the welcome bonus. The minimum withdrawal is £5. As with every UK bookmaker, credit cards are not accepted.
The app carries the same priorities as the site: racing front and centre, fast bet placement, live streaming and quick debit-card deposits, all on a screen that does not feel cramped. Setting up an account takes a couple of minutes.
For general play the cashier lists Visa, Mastercard and Maestro debit cards alongside PayPal, Skrill, NETELLER, paysafecard, Apple Pay and online bank transfer, with debit deposits from as little as £5 and a £10,000 maximum on most methods. Remember, though, that the welcome offer specifically needs a £10 deposit by debit card or instant bank transfer; e-wallets do not qualify.
Beyond the horses: Unibet's football, tennis and wider sportsbook
Racing leads, but Unibet covers the rest of the calendar properly: Premier League and European football, tennis, golf, cricket, greyhounds and more, with the full spread of singles, accumulators, each-way, betting without the favourite and ante-post markets. The welcome free bets, which cannot go on racing, are built for Bet Builders and accumulators on these sports.
Where Unibet differs from a bet365 or a Betfred is focus rather than scale. It is not trying to out-gimmick the biggest books on in-play markets; instead it leans into racing value, with the boosts, the price-match race and the streaming, and keeps the wider sportsbook clean and quick. That suits a particular kind of punter very well and a particular kind less so.
So who is it for? If you are betting racing most days, the account earns its place quickly: BOG from 8am, daily boosts, a price-matched race and streaming you will genuinely use. The ongoing value outlasts the welcome bonus, which is the right way round, and the global coverage means there is nearly always something to bet on. See how it lines up against the field in our best UK horse racing betting sites comparison.
Unibet welcome bonus terms and the traps to avoid
Most of the Unibet free bet offer is straightforward, but the promotion terms carry a few conditions that are easy to miss and costly when you do.
Boosted prices do not qualify
A qualifying bet struck at enhanced odds, through a profit boost or at a special boosted price does not trigger the free bets. Nor does a bet that is cashed out or voided: use cash out on the qualifier, even partially, and nothing is credited. Back the selection at the ordinary price and let it run.
When the free bets land
The free bets are credited once the £10 qualifier settles, and that has to happen within seven days of registering, so avoid an ante-post or long-range market for the qualifying bet. The seven-day expiry runs from when the free bets are issued, and they cannot be withdrawn as cash.
Strict one-per-customer rules
Unibet applies its limits more widely than most bookmakers. One bonus is allowed per account, and also per IP address, device, family, residential address, phone number, card or e-wallet, email address and shared environment, which the terms define as a university, workplace or public library. The offer cannot be combined with, or used to qualify for, any other Unibet promotion.
A worked example
Opt in, deposit £10 by debit card and back a football selection, or a short accumulator, at combined odds of 2.10 for £10. Once it settles, win or lose, two £10 Bet Builder tokens and one £10 acca token are credited. Each needs four or more selections and none can go on racing, so a four-leg Bet Builder on a Premier League match is the natural home for them. A £10 acca token on four selections at evens combines to 16.0 and would pay £150 in winnings, without the £10 stake.
Unibet racing promotions: boosts, acca boosts and money back
Unibet’s ongoing value sits with racing punters, which is the reverse of the welcome deal.
Racing Acca Boost
Eligible accounts receive three Acca Boost tokens a day for horse and greyhound racing multiples. The boost scales with the number of legs: 10% for a treble, 15% for four legs, 20% for five, 30% for six and 40% for seven or more, on a maximum stake of £20 per boost. It applies to win bets and the win part of each-way bets, with the place part settled at the original price. Unused tokens expire at midnight, and boosted bets do not qualify for BOG. If a non-runner reduces the bet to a single, the boost is removed and the token goes back into that day’s allowance.
How Uniboost settles
Uniboost covers win singles on horses, greyhounds and harness racing up to £20 a time, three tokens a day. The useful detail for racing punters is that BOG still applies: if the starting price is bigger than the boosted price, the bet is settled at SP. If the boosted horse is a non-runner or the bet is void, the token can be used again.
Money Back specials
On selected races Unibet refunds losing win bets if the horse finishes second, or second or third, depending on the race. Refunds on the second-or-third races come back as cash up to £10 per race; on second-only races the refund is a free bet up to £20, credited within 24 hours. Only the first cash win single on each race counts, at least five horses must run, a dead heat voids the concession, and the bet cannot also take BOG or a Uniboost. The qualifying races are flagged on the card from 9am.
Unibet and the Champion Hurdle: a racing sponsor with staying power
Unibet's name has been on the Champion Hurdle, the centrepiece of the opening day of the Cheltenham Festival, since 2018, when it took over from Stan James. In 2023 the deal was extended for another five years, through to 2028, and it brought a revamped Road to Cheltenham series of hurdle races with it, including a Unibet Hurdle on Festival Trials Day at the end of January. Lossiemouth won the 2026 Unibet Champion Hurdle for Willie Mullins and Paul Townend, the eighth mare to land the race.
The company behind the sponsorship began more modestly. Anders Ström founded Unibet in 1997 and ran it at first from his home in Earl's Court, London. It grew into the Kindred group, which FDJ United took over in 2024, and the British business now trades through Platinum Gaming Limited.
Unibet sign-up offer: who is eligible
The joining offer is for new customers aged 18 or over who are located in Great Britain; the terms do not mention Northern Ireland, so customers there should check with support before depositing. Unibet employees and their families are excluded. Only debit cards and instant bank transfers count for the £10 deposit, so a first deposit by PayPal, Skrill or another e-wallet will not qualify, even though those methods work for normal play.
Is Unibet safe and legit?
Yes. Unibet's British business is run by Platinum Gaming Limited, a Gibraltar company licensed by the UK Gambling Commission under account number 45322, which also trades as 32Red. The group behind it is FDJ United, parent of La Française des Jeux, which bought Kindred in 2024 and has publicly ruled out taking Unibet out of the British market. The safer gambling toolkit is comprehensive: deposit and net deposit limits, reality checks, an activity dashboard, product blocks, time-outs of up to six weeks and self-exclusion from six months to five years, with GAMSTOP and BetBlocker signposted.
Unibet has been trading since 1997, and customer support runs around the clock by live chat, phone and email. Your details are protected with standard SSL encryption.

Unibet pros and cons
What we like
- Best Odds Guaranteed from 8am, on singles and multiples
- Daily extra-place races with no opt-in
- Each-way terms and payout limits published in full
What could be better
- Welcome free bets cannot be used on racing
- No BOG on extra-place races, and a £25,000 daily cap
- Only debit cards and bank transfer qualify for the offer
Our verdict: is Unibet good for horse racing?
Unibet's racing book is better than its marketing suggests. Best Odds Guaranteed runs from 8am on selected British and Irish races, for multiples as well as singles, and the daily Extra Place Racing Specials pay down to fifth in big fields without any need to opt in. Each-way terms are published in full, the racing rules set a generous £100,000 daily payout limit on British and Irish races, and the Smart View racecard keeps the essentials on one screen. For someone who bets most days, those details add up.
The welcome offer is where the racing fan comes unstuck. The £30 in free bets cannot go anywhere near a horse, they are tied to four-leg Bet Builders and accumulators, and only debit cards and instant bank transfers count. The BOG concession is also capped at £25,000 a day and switched off on extra-place races. We score Unibet 7 out of 10: a sound everyday racing bookmaker wrapped around an offer built for football.
