The Lottoland sign-up offer for sports has no promo code. Instead, you opt in on the bet slip: deposit £10 or more by debit card, tick the offer, and place a qualifying bet. Leave the opt-in out and the free bet will not arrive, so that small step is the one to remember.

The catch is the shape of the qualifying bet for the welcome bonus. It has to be an accumulator or Bet Builder of at least two selections with combined odds of 3/1 or bigger, and the £10 free bet that follows comes with the same restriction. A racing double qualifies for the joining offer; a straight win single on a horse does not.

Lottoland sign-up offer: the £10 acca free bet explained

Lottoland’s welcome offer is small but simple. After a debit-card deposit of at least £10, opt in to the offer and place £10 or more on an accumulator or Bet Builder with two or more selections at combined odds of 3/1 or bigger. You then receive a £10 free bet to use on another acca or Bet Builder. The qualifying bet has to be completed within seven days of claiming, and the free bet lasts seven days.

For racing punters, the cleanest route is a double on two horses whose combined price clears 3/1; two runners at evens each, for example, produce exactly 3/1. Our bet calculator will confirm the combined odds before you place it. Cash out is not allowed on the qualifying bet.

Lottoland horse racing: coverage, streaming and gaps

Lottoland’s sportsbook prices horse racing alongside football and the other major sports, and it streams a selection of horse races. Beyond that, it says little about racing in public: there is no published policy on price guarantees, place terms or racing promotions that we could find. UK and Irish racing are both covered. The sportsbook is better suited to the casual racing fan placing a double at the weekend than to someone doing serious form study every day.

Best Odds Guaranteed and each-way terms

Lottoland does not publish a Best Odds Guaranteed policy, and none of the independent reviews we checked mentions one. Assume you will be paid at the price you take unless the bet slip says otherwise. The same applies to extra places: there are no advertised enhanced each-way terms, so on big handicaps such as the Grand National you are likely to find better place terms elsewhere.

Bet types

Lottoland does not publish a list of racing bet types we could verify. What is confirmed is that the sportsbook offers pre-match and in-play betting, Bet Builder and cash out, and that accumulators are central to how it promotes itself, as the welcome offer shows.

Streaming and racing features

Selected horse races are streamed live through the Lottoland sportsbook. Lottoland does not publish which meetings are covered or whether you need a funded account or a bet on the race to watch, so check before the off if pictures matter to you. Beyond streaming, we found no racing-specific features or promotions to report.

Lottoland Sports: football, accas and one shared balance

Lottoland Sports is the sportsbook arm of a company best known for its lottery betting products. Founded in Gibraltar by David Rosen in 2013, it added sports betting in 2019, and the betting side has grown into a competitive book across football, horse racing and the other popular sports, with the emphasis firmly on accumulators and Bet Builders.

The range covers football, horse racing, tennis, cricket, rugby, golf, NBA, NFL and darts, plus lottery specials that you will not find at a conventional bookmaker. Football is the strongest area, with deep markets on the Premier League and the other major leagues.

Bet Builder lets you create a custom bet from several markets on a single event, and accumulators combine selections across events for bigger returns. Both count towards the welcome offer, which tells you where Lottoland expects most of its customers to bet.

The unique selling point is integration. One balance covers a Powerball or EuroMillions bet and a Premier League acca, so if you already play the lotto with Lottoland, adding sports takes no extra deposits or log-ins.

Lottoland free bet terms: two clocks and a 3/1 floor

The Lottoland joining offer has fewer clauses than most, but two of them run on separate timers, and that is where newcomers get caught.

Claim first, then bet

The seven-day window starts when you claim the offer, not when you register. Deposit by debit card, claim, and place the £10 qualifier within the week; the free bet then expires seven days from that same claim. In practice, the sooner the qualifier settles, the more of the week you keep for the free bet, so a Saturday racing double is a better qualifier than an ante-post multiple settling a month later.

The 3/1 floor in practice

Both the qualifier and the free bet must be accas or Bet Builders of at least two selections. The 3/1 minimum applies to the qualifier, and it is easy to undershoot: two odds-on favourites at 4/6 and 8/11 combine to under 2/1 and will not count. A 6/4 shot doubled with an evens chance gets you to 4/1. Our bet calculator settles it before you press the button. Cash out is off the table on the qualifier.

A worked example

Deposit £10 by debit card, claim, and back a racing double at 6/4 and evens for £10, combined odds of 4/1. Win or lose, the £10 free bet follows. Use it on a three-leg Bet Builder at a combined 5/1 that lands and you collect £50; the £10 free bet stake is kept by Lottoland.

Lottoland promotions for existing customers: the weekly Bet Club

Lottoland's regular sports promotion is Bet Club, a weekly acca reward. Join, then place £25 in cash stakes on accumulators of three or more selections at combined odds of 3/1 or bigger between Saturday and Thursday, with every bet settled before 22:59 on Thursday. A £5 free bet arrives before 6pm on Friday, to be used at evens or bigger on selected sports markets, with winnings capped at £100.

Racing punters should read the exclusions first: horse racing and greyhound bets do not count towards the £25, and nor do bets with price-boosted selections, cashed-out bets, system bets or virtuals. Bet Builders count, up to six selections. So the scheme rewards a football acca habit, not a racing one, and the free bet itself must be played through once before any winnings can be withdrawn.

Bet Club is limited to one entry per person, household, IP address and shared computer, runs once a week, and only one free bet can be active at a time; any others queue until it is used. If a selection on the free bet is voided, the free bet is forfeited rather than returned.

Lottoland app and payments

Lottoland’s app puts lotto, sports, scratchcards and casino in one place, and its store screenshots lean heavily on the casino side, with more than 4,000 slot games and live blackjack and roulette. For the welcome offer, deposit by debit card; Paysafecard, Skrill and Neteller do not qualify. Withdrawals are usually processed within 48 hours, though some reports put it at two to three working days, so complete identity checks early to avoid delays on your first cash-out. Is Lottoland safe and legit?

Yes. Lottoland’s UK site is run by EU Lotto Limited, based in Gibraltar and licensed by the UK Gambling Commission under account 38991, with active licences for remote real-event and virtual-event betting, casino and bingo. In 2021 the Commission took regulatory action against Lottoland, a £760,000 outcome, over social responsibility and anti-money-laundering failings between October 2019 and November 2020. As a UK licensee, Lottoland must offer deposit limits, time-outs and GAMSTOP self-exclusion, and you should set limits before you start.

Lottoland pros and cons

Lottoland for horse racing: our verdict

Most people know Lottoland as the company that lets you bet on the outcome of lotteries, and that remains its identity. Its sportsbook shares the same account as the lotto, scratchcards and casino, licensed by the UK Gambling Commission through EU Lotto Limited in Gibraltar. It covers the expected ground, with in-play betting, Bet Builder and cash out, and streams selected horse races. It is a brand better known for something other than racing.

What it does not do is make a case for itself as a racing bookmaker. Lottoland publishes no Best Odds Guaranteed policy and no extra-place offers we could find, and the welcome free bet is built for accumulators and Bet Builders rather than a single on the 3.15. A score of five reflects a sound, properly licensed operator with a modest offer and a racing product that is serviceable but not distinctive.
