BetMGM's Best Odds Guaranteed covers UK and Irish horse and greyhound races from 9am each day, paying at the starting price if it is bigger than the odds you took. It is offered to selected customers only, so look for the BOG label on the betslip. Extra winnings are capped at £10,000 a day, it cannot be combined with other promotions, and BetMGM can withdraw it from an account at any time. Read that last clause twice: the guarantee is a privilege granted account by account, not a promise to every customer.

BetMGM in Britain: the Las Vegas brand on a LeoVegas platform

MGM Resorts made a bold entry into the UK online gambling market with BetMGM, combining a sportsbook and an online casino under one of the best-known names in Las Vegas. Rather than build from scratch, it runs on the platform of LeoVegas, the operator MGM bought in September 2022, and the brand went live in Britain in August 2023. Regular LeoVegas customers will recognise much of the platform, from the game selection to the account area.

BetMGM sign-up offer terms, clause by clause

The headline is simple enough, but the BetMGM promotional terms carry several clauses that decide whether the £40 actually lands. Most of them concern the qualifying bet rather than the free bets, and a punter who gets the first £10 right has done most of the work.

The qualifying bet

The first bet must be £10 or more at odds of 2.0 or bigger, placed within seven days of opening the account. A Bet Builder counts as a single bet per game, so its combined price has to reach 2.0 on its own; stacking two short-priced Bet Builders in a double does not help. Free bets, Profit Boosts and Odds Boosts cannot be used as the qualifier, which rules out applying a Golden Silks boost to your opening racing bet.

How the four free bets are used

The tokens do not fire automatically. After choosing your selections, tick the free bet checkbox on the betslip. The two football tokens need accumulators of four or more legs; the two multiple tokens need at least two selections and can mix sports. The terms set no minimum odds on the free bets themselves, though a four-leg football acca will rarely be short.

One claim, one household

The offer is limited to one claim per person and one per household, computer or IP address. Opening a second account to claim again leads to every linked account being suspended and all bonuses and winnings voided. Employees, agents and partners of BetMGM and its group are excluded, and the sports welcome offer cannot be combined with any other promotion. The published terms list no payment-method exclusions on the qualifying deposit.

A worked example

Deposit £10 and back a horse at 6/4 in a British handicap. Win or lose, four £10 tokens arrive once the race is settled. Put one football token on a four-fold at a combined 7/1 and, if it lands, you receive £70 in cash; the £10 stake is not returned. Use a multiples token on a racing double at 3/1 and 2/1, combined 11/1, and a winner pays £110. Those are the only two ways a racing fan can put the bonus to work on horses.

Golden Silks: up to seven racing boosts a week

Claim the Golden Silks card from My Promotions each week, then place a qualifying bet of up to £20 on horse racing. Do it before the last race on Monday and you receive seven daily 10% profit boosts; leave it until Sunday and you get one. The boost lifts the price on a win-only racing single, so 2/1 becomes 21/10, and extra winnings are capped at £10,000. Two details matter: if Best Odds Guaranteed applies to your account, you are paid at whichever of the two prices is higher, and a cash out is valued at the original, unboosted price. Only your first bet after opting in counts, and staking more than £20 on it voids the offer for the week.

Golden Acca: a sliding boost for selected players

Selected customers get an automatic profit boost on sports accumulators of three or more legs at 3/10 or bigger per selection, with stakes up to £500. The boost scales with the number of selections: 3% on a treble, 10% on a six-fold, 25% on ten legs and 100% on 16, rising to 200% on a 20-fold. If selections are void, the percentage drops to the tier matching the number of winners, so an eight-fold with four postponements is boosted at the four-fold rate of 5%. Cashed-out accas lose the boost, and it cannot be paired with a free bet.
