About The Curragh

Headquarters of Irish flat racing and home to all five Irish Classics. The Curragh sits on a 5,000-acre limestone plain in Co Kildare — Ireland's most natural galloping ground — and has hosted thoroughbred racing for over 280 years. Following a €81 million redevelopment completed in 2019, the venue combines historic stature with state-of-the-art viewing facilities.
