How we review a bookmaker
- We check the operator's licence with the regulator before we write about it.
- We read the full terms of each welcome offer on the operator's own Irish website and quote the significant terms next to every offer.
- App details and ratings come from the operator's listing on the Irish App Store.
- Racing features such as Best Odds Guaranteed, extra places and live streaming are taken from the bookmaker's own help pages and promotion terms.
- We revisit offers and terms regularly and update a review when they change.
How the site is paid for
Some bookmakers pay us a commission when a reader opens an account through one of our links. Those links are marked as sponsored. We also review bookmakers that pay us nothing, and a commercial agreement never changes a score, a ranking or what we say about an offer's terms. Our disclaimer explains this in full.
