Paddy Power free bet terms: Rewards Club, Money Back and welcome tokens

Most free bets at Paddy Power come from three places: the welcome offer, Paddy's Rewards Club and racing Money Back tokens. Each follows slightly different rules.

Paddy's Rewards Club

Opt in, then place five bets of €5 or more between Monday morning and Sunday night at odds of evens (2.0) or bigger. The reward is one free bet a week worth between €5 and €50, credited the following Monday by noon and usable on any sports market for seven days. The free bet stake is not returned. Boosts, Money Back token bets, cashed-out bets, Tote and pool bets and stakes from free bets do not count, and missing two weeks in a row removes you from the scheme.

Money Back tokens on racing

Racing Money Back tokens apply to singles. Tap the yellow Money Back box on the bet slip and, if your horse finishes in the places named on the token, the stake comes back as a free bet up to the token's limit, normally within two hours. Some tokens work on any UK or Irish race, others on a named meeting. Stakes must be cash, Best Odds Guaranteed does not apply, and cashing out forfeits the token. A non-runner returns the token for another go.

Best Odds Guaranteed: opt in, stake €5

Best Odds Guaranteed covers UK and Irish horse racing for customers who have opted in through the promotions page. Since 11 August 2026 it has applied only to stakes of €5 or more. Bets must be placed from 08:00 on race day, and the published terms cap the extra payment at £1,000 per customer per day. Free bets, Money Back token bets, ante-post, in-running, forecasts, place-only, Betting Without, boosted selections, greyhounds and international racing are excluded.

Extra places on selected races

Paddy Power's Extra Places promotion pays an extra place above its standard each-way terms on selected races, marked with a banner on the racecard and grouped in the Extra Places section of the racing tab. It is open to customers in the UK and the Republic of Ireland. Standard terms are 1/5 the odds for three places in races of eight or more runners, and 1/4 for four places in handicaps of 16 or more.

Double result and Rule 4

On Irish and UK meetings covered by the full betting service, a horse first past the post is paid as a winner even if the stewards later change the result, provided the change comes before the weigh-in is announced. Rule 4 deductions apply after late withdrawals, capped at 90 per cent. Irish point-to-points and other races outside the full service carry a payout cap of £50,000 per bet.

Streaming Irish racing

Racing can be watched and bet on in the same app, which advertises live coverage of more than 100,000 events a year. Streaming conditions for individual races are shown on the race page, so check them before a festival day.

Irish accounts run in euro. Credit cards are banned for gambling in Ireland, so deposits go through Visa or Mastercard debit cards, Apple Pay and the other methods listed in the cashier.
