Went straight to the front early - severely knocked about at the 2nd - settled with the front group in 5th by halfway with a small error four out - unable to close up after that and found nothing in the straight - finished 7th well beaten
Sat close to the pace early - second at halfway despite a small error at the 6th - fell back to 7th two out under pressure - soon lost touch and beaten well into 12th
Shared early advantage before being overtaken after the 1st - nosed back in front after 2nd then quickly passed - travelling keenly early on - slipped to 3rd after 5th - regained the front after 6th - overtaken again after 7th - lost ground into modest 3rd approaching the last - well held at the finish
