Set the pace from the off - drifted left over the second and third obstacles and lost a little ground - three lengths clear turning into the straight - given encouragement before two out - wandered left again at the final fence cutting the margin - driven out on the run-in - kept finding through to the line
Settled in 5th early - jumped awkwardly at the fifth - moved into 2nd approaching 2 out and going strongly - dropped back to 3rd then faded to finish 5th on the run-in
Settled just behind the front group early - up to 3rd by halfway and 2nd turning into the straight - asked for effort after 2 out but couldn't get near the winner - stayed on at one gear to finish 2nd
Started towards the back - briefly up to 4th then 5th early on - hit a flat spot four out and began losing touch - lost more ground and driven along before three out - faded from there - well held at the finish
